SNAP 365 is our all-new solution for you to use SNAP 2013 without having Office installed on your computer. It gives you the flexibility to learn Office 2013 skills in the live software environment – without the headaches of software costs and long downloads. SNAP 365 is an access code you enter into our SNAP system and is good for 180-days from activation. It converts your learning experience to one similar to using a PC. The following are the minimum system requirements for 365 on your computer:

  • Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS.
  • Broadband Internet Connection: Minimum 3mbps download, 1mbps upload connection, or higher, to the Internet with an Internet latency (ping) of 99ms or lower.
  • Web Browser: Any web browser supporting HTML5 content. Examples include: Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Firefox 3.6 or higher, Chrome 11 or higher and Safari.
  • Any popup blocking software disabled for
  • JavaScript enabled
  • Cookies enabled
  • Security: Firewall(s) configured to allow data transfer to and from
  • SNAP 365 can be used on most screen resolutions. A screen resolution below 1280x800 (the same as SNAP 2013) may cause scrolling to be necessary to view content.

SNAP 2013 Grade-Its, Performance Evaluations, and Skill Exams can all be launched using SNAP 365.  This process is the same for each of the exam types. In the example below you will see how to launch a SNAP 2013 Grade-It Assignment.

When logged in to your SNAP 2013 account and viewing your course, please click the name of the assignment you would like to launch.

1. If you have SNAP 365 enabled on your account, you will see two options for launching your assignment. The button labeled SNAP will be selected by default. If you are using SNAP 365 to take your Grade-It, please click the SNAP 365. It will appear as in the screenshot below:

2. Next, please click on the Open Grade-It Window button that appears below:

3. Your SNAP 365 window will then open over your browser window. From within this new window you will be able to complete and submit your assignment. Please make sure that you navigate through each step of the assignment using the Check Answer or Next buttons to the right of the instructions:

Should you need to close your assignment and return to it later, please do so by clicking the grey X button in the lower right hand portion of the assignment to close the activity before closing the SNAP 365 window.


I purchased a SNAP 365 access code, now what do I do?

You can register for SNAP 365 as part of the registration process for a new SNAP 2013 account or you can add SNAP 365 to an existing SNAP 2013 account.  

I want to create a new SNAP 2013 account and I have SNAP 365, what should I do?

To register for SNAP 2013 Click Here and then follow the instructions below:
  1. Click on the Register for SNAP icon.
  2. On the next screen,
  • Enter a username and password.
  • Enter your email address.
Note: Your college may require you to use your college email address.
  • Your name and contact information.
  • Your time zone.
  • The enrollment key, which is provided by your instructor.
  • The SNAP 2013 activation key, which is provided with your textbook purchase.
  • Your SNAP 365 access code.
  1. Click the Create my new account button.
A page will display asking you to verify that the course information is correct. Click the Confirm Account button and a confirmation message will be displayed.  

I already have a SNAP 2013 account and I want to add SNAP 365, what should I do?

Please follow the directions below:
  1. Log-in to your SNAP 2013 account.
  2. Click the Account link in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Click the Edit Profile tab.
  4. Enter your SNAP 365 activation code in the SNAP/365 activation code field.
  5. Click the Update profile button to enable SNAP 365 on your account.

If I am completing my assignments using SNAP 365 how does my instructor see them?

When using SNAP 365 to complete assignments you are using a computer "remotely" that already has everything set up that you need to complete your assignments. These assignments are still associated with your SNAP account and uploaded in the same way that they would be if you were completing them using your own computer.
